Congratulations to the members who undertook level 1 and level 2 of the DSWA Craft Certification Scheme. Throughout 2023 the members had been preparing for the examination day in September, in challenging conditions of Welsh mountain weather the candidates undertook their respective exams. Under the watchful eye of Master Craftsman examiner Simon Morphet progress through the day was steady and the mandatory 30 minute break was taken.

The result was what the branch and candidates had worked hard for. Despite the Welsh conditions in the practice week (think upward directional rain, now referred to as Gwrhyd rain) all six candidates passed. DSWA Wales will be holding another certification week in September 2024
